Husk
You enter through the gaping side of a ruined farm house. mold spots cover the western themed wallpaper. Somehow the stairs are intact and upstairs you find a rotted wood bed and an old chest at its foot. You open the chest and find pictures of the family who lived there, half ruined by the water coming through the roof.

With this collection I wanted to capture the look of derelict farmhouses through the use of fair isles. I used different fair isles as a sort of imitation of the wallpaper in these houses and I made them look like they were falling apart and being degraded by using rehung stitches, tuck stitches, and partial knitting.
